Energy sources we have wind vs. Solar 

They're both renewable meaning they can be used over and over again with little effect on the environment but they're diffrent in many ways let's see how these contenders stack up against one another in this corner we have a wind power is an amazing renewable energy source as 2012 wind farms generated more than 10 percent of the electricity that's produced in nine us states that energy is now  used throughout the us put simply when energy is captured from the movement of massive.

the electricity passes through transformers which them carried over traditional power lines
